XNX Transmitter for use with Optima Plus and Searchline Excel Detectors

Each XNX transmitter is supplied, configured, and tested for Optima Plus or Excel input, with a magnetic wand/screwdriver, Allen keys, jumpers, blanking plug and any optional accessories ordered. Order the Optima Plus and Excel detectors separately.

A kit part number range is available, including the XNX transmitter and Searchline Excel detector.

Transmitter

The XNX Universal Transmitter is a simple-to-use, low-maintenance universal platform that works with other safety equipment on a digital bus system, including Searchline Excel, Optima or other gas detectors, industry-standard PLCs and third-party gas monitoring controllers.

The enclosure is stainless steel or aluminium with a marine-grade coating. Five threaded ports, available in metric or NPT versions, and ruggedised mounting options provide ultimate installation flexibility. Instrumentation built on various sensing technologies can be attached locally to the transmitter or remotely with the appropriate accessories.

Accommodates Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead gas monitors and uses standard 4-20mA wiring and HART; options include Modbus, Fieldbus, up to three relays and a local Hart Adapter for configuration and diagnostics using existing HART handheld devices.

Fully configurable via non-intrusive magnetic switches, there is no need to open the unit. No hot work permit is needed; intrinsically safe connections and automatic sensor recognition allow a hot swap of toxic and oxygen sensor cartridges. A multi-language backlit LCD shows gas readings and status with text, bar graph and icons.
