Simtronics DG-TT7 and DG-RT7 series by Teledyne is part of the DG7 family of gas detectors. All have a common mode of operation, for standardised training and maintenance.
The range is split into two categories:
- DG-TT7-S uses a solid-state metal oxide semiconductor sensor. For the detection of Hydrogen Sulphide. DG-RT7-S are the Syntel models.
- DG-TT7-K has a thermal conductivity sensor to monitor explosions risks induced by the presence of flammable gases or vapours (hydrogen, hydrocarbons, alcohol, etc). DG-RT7-K are the Syntel models. The principle is very stable and able to operate with high gas concentrations. In this configuration, the presence of oxygen is not essential, and catalytic poisoning is not an issue.
Microprocessor driven, configurable using a wireless hand-held terminal (TLU) or by using hard wired HART protocol option, providing installation options and reduced service costs. Relay operation and alarm levels can be set using the TLU which is hazardous area approved.
