3M Scott Safety Sabre Cylinder Range
Scott cylinders are available in Steel or lighter Carbon Fibre. Short-duration cylinders deliver 13-15 minutes of air and are used for escape. Self-contained breathing apparatus cylinders provide 30 minutes of air using a 6-litre cylinder or 45 minutes using a 9-litre cylinder (both 200-bar Steel versions). 300-bar cylinders can provide longer durations, with all capacities calculated using an average wearer consumption rate of 40 litres per minute.
We supply cylinders, charged and empty. Pressurised cylinders are considered hazardous for transport, so we also supply decompressed versions. Some of the most commonly ordered cylinders are detailed below; for others, please enquire.
