Honeywell’s BW Gas Alert Extreme Gas Detector is a single gas detector for Toxic gas or Oxygen. Now obsolete replacement here.

The electrochemical sensor and instrument have a two-year warranty. Replaceable sensor and battery can extend monitor life. Data logging is a standard feature on all models, an LCD shows real-time gas readings. If a gas hazard is detected visual and audible (95dB) alarms will trigger, the detector will also vibrate.

The user can configure the instrument for passcode setting to prevent resetting of critical parameters, also selectable are latching alarms, stealth mode, automatic calibration (O2 models only), backlight, calibration setpoints, lockout if calibration expired and language choice.

Includes a self-test facility for sensor, circuitry, battery, audible and visual alarm. The replaceable 3V battery is constantly tested, typical life one and a half years. The detector is fully compatible with the MicroDock II automatic test and calibration station.
