The Honeywell FS24X is a Multi-Spectrum Triple IR flame detector using patented WideBand IR, WideBand 4.3 micron IR, and Visible detection technology. Sophisticated software algorithms and dual microprocessors ensure the highest fire detection performance and optimal false alarm rejection.
There are two housing choices: Copper-Free Aluminum or 316 Stainless Steel housing. Kit versions include a HART module.
The detection range is over 60 m (200 feet) (very high sensitivity setting) for detecting a one-square-foot Heptane reference fire. It has a vision cone with far greater volumetric coverage than any other Multi-Spectrum IR detector, meaning fewer detectors are needed. A user can switch sensitivity as required, high 150 feet, medium 100 feet and low 50 feet—ideal for all types of fire, hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires. Wideband IR sensors will still detect fire even if the signal is blocked by glass; however, reaction time will be increased.

An SM4 Stainless Steel Swivel mounting assembly is required with each flame detector.
