The Stuart US152D Stirring Hotplate by Cole Parmer provides a Digital display of surface temperature. Plate dimensions are 150mm x 150mm with heating across the full surface area, and a maximum temperature of 325°C. By inserting the optional SCT1 probe into the sample, the liquid temperature can be digitally controlled.
Powerful magnets and a motor provide the stirring action, speed is adjustable between 100 to 2000 rpm, mixing volumes up to fifteen litres for single stirring operation only. The combination of mixing heating provides excellent temperature uniformity throughout the sample.
The aluminium silicon surface allows excellent heat conduction and can withstand daily knocks. A thin Ceramic coating provides a chemically resistant surface. A light displays when the surface temperature exceeds 50°C, warning the operator, even if unplugged.
The two separate knobs operate stirring and temperature control at the front of the hotplate stirrer. Supplied complete fitting for retort rod, 2 x 25mm PTFE coated stir bars and power cord.
