The Stuart US150 Hotplate by Cole Parmer has plate dimensions of 150mm by 150mm with heating is across the whole surface area. The maximum temperature is 325°C. The plate is constructed from aluminium-silicon alloy, resistant to knocks and allows excellent conduction and temperature uniformity. The compact shape takes up less bench space and makes storage easier.
Control temperate accurately using the analogue temperature knob with LED setting scale. The hotplate has microprocessor control and an innovative LED-based true °C temperature setting system rather than simply a 1 to 10 arbitrary scale.
To control sample temperature an optional SCT1 digital contact thermometer is available. The “Hot” warning light will flash whenever the plate temperature is above 50°C. The light will continue to display until the temperature reduces, even if the hotplate is switched off and unplugged from the mains.
