The Stuart SD500 Digital Hotplate by Cole Parmer has large rectangular plate dimensions of 300mm width and 500mm length with heating across the full surface area. The maximum temperature is 300°C. The top plate is made from aluminium-silicon alloy, which is durable, providing uniform heat distribution across the plate area.
Easy to use, control and setting of temperature are digital. Microprocessor control accurately monitors plate temperature. The large, fully heated surface area means multiple vessels can be heated simultaneously or microscope slides—ideal for large laboratories or education environments. Maximum capacity 30 x 100ml beakers. A flashing light warns when the top plate is above 50°C.
Supplied with a power cord and side arms for transporting.
