The Stuart D4000 Distinction Water Still by Cole Parmer produces four litres of single distilled water in one hour. Made from glass and supplied with silica sheathed heaters providing high purity pyrogen free distillate. The condenser allows distilled droplets prolonged contact with the cooling coil, which cools the water and provides heating to the boiler for maximum energy efficiency.
If left unattended and the water reservoir becomes full, a control device automatically turns off the water heating. Two safety thermostats provide over-temperature protection if the water supply slows or ceases.
Included is an acid addition funnel and stopcock for draining descaling chemicals, both remove the need for dismantling glassware during cleaning.
All water connections are screw thread to make switching hoses simple and to avoid damaging the glassware.
D4000 output 4 litres per hour single distilled water, stand supplied with pre-drilled holes for optional wall mounting.
