Seaward SDR11 and SDR35 allow the safe damp discharge of residual charge on a cable or piece of electrical equipment with voltages up to 11kV and 35kV by limiting the discharge current. Both models are supplied with 10 square mm, 5 metre length, yellow and green cable with heavy duty brass clamp for earth connection.
Single pole devices with no switches constructed of high grade glass fibre tubing and encapsulated resistor chains with hook contact. SDR11 model has length of 750mm, maximum voltage 11kV and the SDR35 has a length of 950mm, maximum voltage 35kV. Both discharge rods are suitable for AC and DC voltage, are 32mm in diameter and supplied with cushion soft carrying case.
