Seaward AGL-5 Voltage Detector is primarily used on airfield ground lighting systems. It can also be used for remotely operated vehicles and offshore. A two pole detector of voltages over 50V AC or 70V DC. Suitable for proving dead on AGL systems up to 5000V AC or DC.
Housing is impact resistant, tough and IP64 rated. Voltage is indicated by two ultra bright high intensity red LED indicators and a polarising filter insure maximum visibility in varying light conditions. The LEDs illuminate when voltage exceeds the threshold voltage present at the probe tips.
The AGL-5 is supplied complete with PH3-LLT proving unit, which provides an output voltage of 500V dc, for proof testing before and after use.
