Oldham OLCT 20 by Teledyne, designed for continuous monitoring of flammable and toxic gases. Housed in stainless steel, detectors were resistant to dust, moisture and corrosion, classified IP 66. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.  Aimed as a cost-effective solution, with a range of gases selectable.

OLCT 20 XP transmitter had a choice of Catalytic or Electrochemical sensors. The Intrinsically Safe versions were for Toxic and Oxygen detection only. Both models attach to the housing using an M25 or 3/4” NPT thread. Maintenance was simple, sensors unscrew for precalibrated replacements, or existing sensors can be calibrated outside the zoned area and refitted.

The OLC 20 was a Combustible transmitter with a Wheatstone bridge output mV. Replaced by the OLC100. Remote sensor model OLC 20D is also no longer available; the current equivalent model is OLCT 60.   The OLC 20D was equipped with a 15 m long cable (standard version) and fitting gland for direct connection to a data logger.
