The Honeywell ToxiRAE Pro PID is one of the smallest monitors on the market, designed to measure Volatile Organic Compounds. The series of detectors by RAE Systems can monitor over 300 VOCs with 190 inbuilt correction factors allowing the reading of the target compound.
Wireless models provide remote access to real-time gas concentrations and alarm event information. Non-wireless models are also available. The safety monitoring versions have a 1-1000 ppm range, with 1 ppm resolution, supplied with a 10.6 eV PID lamp. Industrial hygiene variants have a range of 0.1-2000 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution, with the choice of 10.6 or 9.8 eV PID lamp and data logging capability. Safety versions are not data logging.
Operation is by two buttons. The monitor has a graphical LCD; white LED backlighting is activated by pressuring a button or in alarm. Alarms are audible 95 dB, vibrating, visual and remote (wireless versions only).
The unit is serviceable, with the rechargeable battery, fan and sensor easily replaceable. Compatible with AutoRAE 2 automatic test and calibration system. Further options include chargers for up to five detectors.
