Honeywell Impulse XT is now obsolete the replacement is the BW Clip.
Impulse XT was a two-year disposable single gas monitor previously by Neotronics, measuring Carbon Monoxide or Oxygen or Hydrogen Sulphide by electrochemical sensors. Supplied with crocodile clip. The life of a detector could not be extended with maintenance.
Designed to be easy to use, operated by a single button, with a Custom LCD. Alarms were audible two-tone alarm 95db at 10cm (4in), visually high-intensity red LEDs, and vibrating. Actual gas reading displayed during alarm with peak reading and event time. The unit also alarmed approaching the end of the lifetime.
No calibration was required or replacement of the 3.6V non-replaceable Lithium battery. Temperature and cell decay were automatically compensated for. False alarms were prevented by resistance to interference from radio devices such as portable communication equipment and telephones.
