Designed for gas detection in semiconductor processing and industrial manufacturing. The Midas Gas Detector utilises reliable sensor technology to detect a wide range of critical toxic, ambient, and flammable gases within a plant. Sensors are pre-calibrated, plug-and-play, for easy replacement, minimising the possibility of human error. Sampling up to 100 feet (30 meters) is possible using an extractive pump system.
Thanks to the Midas architecture, cost-effective integration with PLC and Fieldbus systems is simplified. The detector utilises the Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol — a single Ethernet connection that meets all power, control, and communication requirements. The standard power supply and communications capabilities include three onboard relays, a 0-22 mA analogue output, and Modbus/TCP Ethernet digital outputs.
Access to configuration and calibration menus is password-protected to avoid errors in resetting instrument key parameters.
For the detection of NF3 and CxFy gases, two Pyrolyser modules are available, standard or high-temperature. These can be paired and powered from any Midas detector.
