The Drager X-am 5600 is a small, lightweight 1-6 gas detection instrument specially designed for personal monitoring requirements. It can be equipped with one infrared sensor and three electrochemical sensors. With a dual toxic sensor CO/H2S and Dual IR sensor fitted, the simultaneous measurement of 6 gases is possible. A robust and water-tight detector for reliable ambient air monitoring for explosive gases/vapours, O2 and other toxic gases.
For applications where the accurate measurement of Explosive gases and Carbon Dioxide is needed, a dual-sensor (Dual IR EX/CO2) is available.
An optional external pump can be fitted with a hose up to 20 metres in length for pre-entry measurements in tanks or pipelines. The unit can be inserted into the X-zone 5000 for area monitoring. Further options include the X-dock automatic test & calibration station and a bump test station.
