The Drager X-am 2500 gas detector can simultaneously monitor Flammable, Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Sulphide with single, dual or three gas model choices.
The X-am 2500 can accept either alkaline batteries or a rechargeable NiMH battery pack; both provide a power supply for over 12 hours. Operation is by two buttons with an initiative menu. Data and event logging are standard; 1000 hours of storage is possible when monitoring four gases, based on a recording interval of 1 value per minute.
Switching from diffusion mode to pumped does not require tools. For confined space work, an external pump can be added. Further options include the X-dock automatic testing and calibration station, which provides fast bump tests (8 to 15 seconds) with low gas consumption. A Bump Test Station, which requires no local power source, is also available.
