Drager Polytron 7500
The Polytron 7500 is a fixed gas monitor for detection of NF3 and Perfluoro compounds. There are two models one measures Nitrogen trifluoride NF3 CAS 7783-54-2, 0 to 50 ppm. The other measures Octafluorocyclopentene C5F8 CAS 559-40-0, 0 to 30 ppm and Hexafluorobutadiene C4F6 CAS 685-63-2, 0 to 30 ppm. Each have an option for a digital Local Operating Network (LON) output bringing the choice to four models in total.
For sampling the gas there are two internal pumps, one pump provides a continuous gas feed to pyrolysis oven inbuilt, which heats the gas, the byproducts are measured by the electrochemical sensor, with the reading is then displayed on the transmitter. The second pump delivers a high flow gas sample to the Polytron 7500.
Outputs to controllers are provided by optional LON, a 4-20mA signal is included and HART fieldbus. Hart provides a digital output that works over the same two wires as the 4-20mA signal. Both can run concurrently.
There is a relay option so the 7500 can act as a standalone detector.
Operating Temperature 0 to 40 °C / 30 to 100 °F
Power Supply 24 V DC ± 10 %; 1.5 A
A sensor test, sensor diagnostic (determines sensor life) and data (download readings) dongles are also available. Used in the semiconductor industry.
