The Drager Parat 3200 is a respirator device designed for a 15 minute escape period. Comprising of a mouthpiece for insertion and a nose clip attachment to restrict inhalation of unfiltered air. Supplied in a robust case with a grey security tag at the top to check the integrity before use, replacement or servicing is required if opened.
The underside is transparent so that the filter expiry date can be checked. The ergonomic case is small and portable, 170 x 110 x 60 mm, weighing just 330g and is transported with an integral belt clip.
Also available in a vacuum-sealed aluminium bag designed for Tropical climates, the Parat 3260. Both models are from the Parat 3000 range.
Fitted with an ABEK 15 gas filter offering protection for organic and inorganic gases and vapours, approved to DIN 58647 part 7. The Parat 3200 has a four-year life; replacing the filter every four years can extend the life to twelve years. Apart from a visual check, no other maintenance is needed.
