The Xsafe is a flammable gas detector that uses a poison-resistant pellistor contained within an aluminium enclosure, which has one cable gland entry on the right-hand side, with 3-wire mV or 4-20mA output.

Xsafe flammable gas detectors are calibrated in accordance with EN60079-20-1:2010  so that 100% LEL methane= 4.4% volume gas, 100% LEL  propane=1.7% volume gas.

Optionally, the Xsafe can be calibrated in accordance with alternative standards such that 100% LEL  methane= 5.0% vol. gas, 100% LEL  propane=2.2% vol. gas.
