Versatile toxic and oxygen gas detector with LCD display and non-intrusive calibration. Available for detecting a wide range of gases, TXgard-IS+ is Intrinsically Safe, and ATEX and IECEx certified for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2 hazardous areas, and also UL and cUL certified for use in Division 1 or 2 hazardous areas.

Uses an electrochemical sensor within a re-usable bayonet housing. Complete with carbon loaded nylon junction box which contains the amplifier/transmitter to provide a 2-wire 4 to 20mA output (M20 cable gland entry). LCD 2 x 16 character display with extensive menu functions accessed via a keypad. Operating temperature –20 to +55ºC (sensor dependent).

Sensor assemblies

Supplied with a sensor contained within an M20 housing. A resistor gain ‘header’ is also supplied, which is only required if changing the range on a TXgard-IS. If direct sensor replacement only is required, this ‘header’ resistor can be discarded.
