The Crowcon Gas Testers provide a solution that ensures compliance for Gasman and Tetra 3 (T3) gas detectors by checking the sensor’s response to a known gas concentration and utilising the instrument’s internal functionality. This is cost-effective, fast, and straightforward.
With an increased focus on regular ‘bump’ testing of gas detection instruments through regulations and individual company requirements, gas testing has become even more important to ensure user safety.
Gas testing exposes each sensor to a known gas concentration to ensure it responds correctly. Gas testing the portable gas detector ensures that the unit is working correctly. If it is not working, it triggers the need for the instrument to be re-calibrated or serviced.
The Gas Testers allow gas testing of instruments fitted with flammable, oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, carbon dioxide sensors, and more for the Gasman Tester.
The tester can ‘bump’ all four gases in the instrument within 60 seconds.
When used with a fixed flow regulator, the cost of gas testing is low, allowing approximately 140 ‘bumps’ per 34L cylinder of quad gas.
