The Crowcon Gas-Pro TK is a portable multigas detector designed for tank and confined space work, giving advanced protection to those working in challenging environments. It is easy to use and maintain, protecting against the four most common gas hazards: carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), flammable gases, and oxygen (O2) depletion.
Due to its dual infrared sensors, the Gas-Pro TK (Tank) is especially suited to inert environments. Pellistor sensors require oxygen to work, and the sensor’s performance can be compromised if hydrocarbon levels get too high (>100%LEL). The TK meets these challenges with its dual infrared sensors and ability to check tanks, vessels, and pipework full of hydrocarbon and fully purged.
Includes: quick start guide, calibration certificate and declaration of conformity.
- Available for methane, butane and propane, Gas-Pro TK uses a dual IR sensor.
- Auto ranges switch between %vol and %LEL measurement, so continually operating to the correct parameter.
- Measures gas in high %vol and %LEL concentration, which single IR sensors can’t.
- Isn’t inhibited by high hydrocarbon concentrations, unlike catalytic bead sensors.
Gas-Pro TK keeps you up-to-the-moment with oxygen concentrations in the tank, telling you when the oxygen levels are:
- Low enough to load and store fuel safely.
- High enough for safe tank entry.
- Tanks can be sampled quickly from their top, middle or base due to an integrated pump which draws samples through a line up to 30m long.
Offering detection of up to five gases in a compact and rugged solution, Gas-Pro TK has an easy-to-read top-mount display, combining ease of use and user-focused features. At 340g, it is light enough to clip to your belt or overalls, making it easy for the technician to wear.
A marine-approved version is also available.
