The CC-200 Digital colony counter.
Touch pressure with a felt-tip marker on the Petri dish registers a cumulative count on the digital display, with confirmation via an audible tone (which can be turned on or off). The pressure required to register a count can be adjusted to suit each user.
The averaging facility calculates the average count over multiple plates. Counting results, as well as useful statistics including SD, can be sent directly to the accessory printer or to a computer via the supplied USB cable.
Sub-stage illumination by low-energy bright LEDs allows glare-free, optimal viewing. A switchable black background is provided to enhance the viewing of translucent and difficult-to-see colonies. Supplied with two Wolffhuegel graticules and dish centring adapters to facilitate use with 50 mm to 90 mm dishes. Magnifiers and a printer are available as optional accessories.
