Carbolite HTF 18/15 High Temperature Chamber Furnace, 1800C, 15 litres capacity.
Carbolite Gero HTF 18 furnace has molybdenum disilicide elements on each side of chamber and at the back. The chamber is made from refractory, surrounded in low thermal mass insulation. Fan cooling is provided to keep the exterior cold. The furnace is fitted with a 3216P1, 8 segment digital programmer as standard. This controller can be upgraded to 20 segments with additional storage, please contact Norrscope for details. Over temperature protection is also included as standard.
HTF 18/15 is a floor standing furnace with chamber dimensions of H 220 x W 220 x D 300 mm with a heat up time of 70 minutes. Maximum power is 7900 watts. Maximum temperature is 1800C operate 100C below for continuous use.
The furnace has a vertically opening door protecting against contact with hot insulation. HTF models can be tailored according to application, for example catalytic afterburners can be added, used in ceramic binder burn off.
