Carbolite EZS 12/600B Three Zone Horizontal Split Tube Furnace is designed to be compact and versatile, supplied without work tube. All furnaces in the EZS range can accept a maximum 60mm outer diameter work tube. Maximum temperature 1200C, continuous operating temperature 1100C. Heated length is 600mm. Uniform length is 470 mm plus or minus 5c. Maximum power consumption is 2520 watts. Heat up time 55 minutes.
Carbolite Gero EZS is a 3 zone horizontal bench-mounted furnace. The end zones are heated independently reducing temperature differential across the heated length giving excellent uniformity. The furnace splits into two halves by hinges allowing the furnace to be opened, removing the need to insert tubes by narrow end holes. Makes changing work tubes easy and used where larger protruding ends do not fit into the end holes of a standard tube furnace. Adaptors allow the flexibility of accepting tubes lower than the maximum overall diameter into the furnace.
The controller forms the base of the furnace and is a PID 301 with process timer and one ramp. Options allow 8 or 20 segment programming with storage.
The furnace heats using free wire radiating elements integrated into the insulation, this protects the elements and using a separate tube restricts contamination of the elements. High graded vacuum-formed insulation gives high efficiency heating. Around the furnace perimeter mesh is fitted to guard the operator.
