The BW Gas Alert Micro Clip XL by Honeywell is a portable four gas monitor, with single, two and three gas models available in the range. Supplied with a stainless steel alligator clip for donning, concussion-proof housing and powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Flammable Gas 0-100 LEL or 5% volume, Oxygen 0-30%, Carbon Monoxide 0-500 ppm, and Hydrogen Sulphide 0-100 ppm can all be monitored simultaneously, with gas concentrations shown in real-time on the LCD.
A single button operates the BW Technologies detector. An audible beep can be set to signal use; visual confirmation is provided by IntelliFlash-a green flashing light. Sensors can be switched off to conserve battery life.
Use can be prohibited if the Gas Alert Micro Clip is outside calibration or requires bump testing. On startup, auto zeroing can be programmed and a custom message shown. Alarm setpoints for all sensors are adjustable. Alarms are audible 95 dB, visual by bright wide-angled visual alarm bars and vibrating, allowing use in noisy environments.
Options include a manual aspirator for confined space work and an IR option for data download. Detector pairing by Bluetooth with a field communicator mobile device provides remote monitoring capability.
