With an assigned protection factor of 2000, the Scott RAS airline breathing apparatus provides the highest degree of respiratory protection. This open-circuit positive-pressure airline breathing apparatus contains a positive-pressure demand valve, supply hose, and standard harness.
The standard harness features a strong, robust fabric webbing, making it more resilient for regular, heavy use. The set can be used with a standard mask to provide a cost-effective standard airline set or with an RAS face mask, which is also fitted with a negative-pressure filter to allow entry and exit to working areas where the user doesn’t need to be connected to an airline.
