The 3M Scott ProPak FX Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, designed for professional firefighters and suitable for providing respiratory protection in any IDLH environment. Unlike other Propak models, the FX has a fully adjustable backplate. The set is compatible with the full Scott cylinder range, with an option for two-cylinder use. Includes fully adjustable padded body harness and swivel movement waist belt. Supplied with a two-stage pneumatic system made from an injection moulded polyamide with rubber seals, diaphragms, reducing valve and cylinder connector 200/300bar or 379 bar.
Can be used with the following face masks: Vision 3, Vision AMS or Promask PP. The set includes a Bourdon tube type dial, impact and heat resistant pressure indicator with warning whistle. For longevity and ease of use, all hose fittings are stainless steel with swivel hose connections.
A cylinder quick-connect device is available; a cylinder adaptor is also required with this option (part number 2020714). To maintain the cylinder valve handwheel on the normal right-hand side of the SCBA, please use cylinders fitted with the right-angled valve, these cylinders have the suffix -RA.
