Produced for the professional fire service, the Scott Safety ACSfx is self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Consisting of a Polyamide composite flexible backplate, adjustable padded harness, swivel movement waistbelt and removable high specification pneumatic system, including tempest demand value, warning whistle, and pressure reducer and cylinder connector 200/300 bar.
The ACSfx can accept a range of single-cylinder sizes composite or steel 4.7 to 9 Lites capacity. Order cylinders fitted with a right-angled valve. Compatible with facemasks Vision 3, Panaseal, Panavisor or Promask PP facemask. ACSFx model offers users a more custom fit as the waistbelt is fully adjustable, which allows the backplate to provide three different size options for the wearer.
Although designed for the fire service, the ACSfx can be used in any Industrial application or immediately dangerous to life requirement. The complete set is designed to be lightweight especially when used in conjunction with Carbon Fibre cylinders. ACSfx is washable and upgradeable.
Made from Kevlar and Pyrogard blend webbing and Proban material. Approved to EN137:2006 Class II, incorporating the stringent flame engulfment tests.
Facemask and cylinder to complete the set need to be ordered separately. Alternative variations include the addition of an airline attachment and or a split demand valve. An option for a Y-piece (2 CEN socket) in demand valve hose is also available.
