The DNH DSP-15EExmN(T) is a 25-watt re-entrant horn loudspeaker manufactured from non-corroding, UV stable, anti-static black plastic, and is suitable for installation in zone 1/21 hazardous areas.
The standard version is available in gas group IIB, with gas group IIC available on request.
With a maximum sound pressure level of 118dB(A), this robust, lightweight loudspeaker is weatherproof to IP66/67. It features dual M20 gland entries and a large termination chamber fitted with fast installation loop in/loop out terminal blocks for ease of installation. A six-step transformer is supplied to the line voltage models that allow adjustment of sound output by altering the power consumption.
This product is available with either stainless steel or a plastic mounting bracket.
The DSP-15EEx range carries gas (G), dust (D), European ATEX certification and IECEx. It is also approved in North America, Brazil, China, and Russia, making this one of the most versatile hazardous area products DNH manufactures.
Typical applications are offshore oil and gas production facilities, chemical manufacture, refineries, fuel stores, painting facilities, ammunition stores etc.
This loudspeaker is available in the following standard versions:
DSP-15EExmN low impedance (8 ohms or 20 ohms)
DSP-15EExmNT line voltage transformer (100V)
These models replace HS-8EExmN & HS-8EExmNT, which are obsolete.
