Stuart SSM3 Rocker by Cole Parmer has a bright digital LED display. The adjustable digital timer automatically stops after the set time (1 to 9999 minutes, 1 second to 90 minutes or 1 minute to 9 hours). Select the speed between 5 to 70 rpm; both are set using the encoder control knob, allowing repeatability of mixing.
Position the angle of tilt by hand for optimal results. Movement is a 3D gyratory motion, swirling samples, ideal low-foaming applications such as delicate cell culturing, DNA extractions, staining, de-staining, and can be used in incubators or environmental chambers up to 40°C, maximum humidity 80%.
A non-slip mat and platform lip secure vessels. The SSM3 has a 235 x 235mm platform, ideal where bench space is at a premium or for small scale personal use. Triple the capacity by adding the optional accessory tier system, which uses a magnet assembly to provide two stacking platforms. Fitting does not require tools, and the tier system can be dismantled for cleaning.
