Carbolite Gero HTF 18/4 High-Temperature Chamber Furnace, 1800°C, 4 litres capacity
The furnace has molybdenum disilicide elements on each side of the chamber and at the back. The chamber is made from refractory, surrounded in low thermal mass insulation. Fan cooling is provided to keep the exterior cold. The furnace is fitted with an EPC3016P1, 24 segment programmer digital programmer with Ethernet communication is fitted as standard, the controller can be upgraded. Over-temperature protection is also included as standard.
HTF 18/4 is a bench mounted furnace with chamber dimensions of H 140 x W 140 x D 190 mm with a heat-up time of 65 minutes. Maximum power is 4650 watts. The maximum temperature is 1800°C operate 100C below for continuous use.
The furnace has a vertically opening door protecting against contact with hot insulation. HTF models can be tailored according to the application; for example, catalytic afterburners can be added, used in ceramic binder burn off.
