Carbolite Gero ELF 11/23 furnace 1100°C, 23 litres capacity.
The furnace has radiating wire-wound heating elements on both sides of the chamber, providing a high-efficiency heating source. Included is a hard ceramic hearth protecting the base from accidental spillage. The heated chamber is surrounded by rigid low-density thermal insulation allowing for fast heating.
An insulated drop-down door can act as a shelf for loading samples, an air gap between the door insulation insures the exterior does not become too hot. A ceramic chimney at the top provides ventilation.
Designed as a bench mounted furnace., ELF stands for Economy Laboratory Furnace. Supplied with a 301 controller, providing processing time and single ramp capability.
Chamber dimensions are H 235 x W 255 x D 400 mm with a heat-up time of 26 minutes. Maximum power is 5000 watts. The maximum temperature is 1100°C; however, for continuous operation, the furnace should be used at 1000°C.
- Replaceable ceramic hearth
- Drop Down Down Door
- Over Temperature Protection Option (Suitable if furnace used for long periods unattended)
- Door safety switch prevent electric shock
- Cost-Effective Furnace
Examples of use light duty laboratory, small scale work metals heat treatment, quality control – component testing or complete product and coating tests.
