The Scott Safety Flite COV connects to an airline, acting as a positive pressure air respirator, fitted with an emergency cylinder air supply, which kicks in automatically during airline supply interruption. A warning whistle informs the user of the air switchover. A tempest demand valve, flame retardant polyester bandolier harness, escape cylinder connection, change-over valve and pigtail with CEN connection to the airline are included.
Advanced protection for entry into hazardous areas that threaten life, certified to EN 14593-1:2005 and EN 402:2003 standards. Flite COV has two functions: providing the user with an air supply and acting as an escape device by connecting to a ten or fifteen-minute cylinder in an emergency. Typical applications are tank cleaning, hazmat response, confined space and maintenance. Used widely in oil and gas, petrochemical and aviation.
The cylinder and facemask are to be ordered separately. Use with full face masks Vision 3 or Promask PP.
