The BW Gas Alert Micro Clip XL by Honeywell is a portable four-gas monitor, with single, two and three-gas models available in the range. Supplied with a stainless steel alligator clip for donning, concussion-proof housing and powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
Flammable Gas 0-100 LEL, Oxygen 0-30%, Carbon Monoxide 0-500 ppm, and Hydrogen Sulphide 0-100 ppm can all be monitored simultaneously, with gas concentrations displayed in real time on the LCD.
A single button operates the detector. When in use, an audible beep can be set, and IntelliFlash, a green flashing light, provides visual confirmation.
Alarm setpoints for all sensors are adjustable. Sensors can be switched off to conserve battery life.
Adjustable options include: Force calibration when calibration is overdue; calibration lockout: calibration must be invoked via IR; mandatory bump test option; bump test reminder. Oxygen auto-calibration at start-up. Auto-zero LEL, CO, and H2S at start-up; a latching alarm and a custom message can be displayed.
Alarms are audible at 95 dB, with bright, wide-angled visual alarm bars and vibration, allowing use in noisy environments.
Options include a manual aspirator for confined space work and an IR option for data download. Detector pairing by Bluetooth with a field communicator mobile device provides remote monitoring capability.
