The TLU 600/610 remote controller is a portable terminal that communicates with the Teledyne Oldham Simtronics DM and DMi aluminium detectors and the SS DF, DG, and DGi detectors.
The universal remote controller exchanges data with the telecapteur. This dialogue is based on a tree of on-screen menus and the use of function keys. It simplifies every operation related to maintenance, calibration, etc. The number of usable functions will depend on the telecapteur involved. For example, with the gas detector range of products, the remote controller can calibrate, read current status, measure current, etc.
The remote controller can be used for the flame detector to stimulate a flame detection. Similarly, the language used in these exchanges (French, English, etc.) is set on the remote controller (except for the welcome screens). The password for switching on or off the remote controller gives access to authorised functions. The telecapteur and remote controller communicate by an infrared link. Communication is, therefore, always by “line of sight”, i.e. there must be no obstacle between the telecapteur and the remote controller.
The remote controller includes:
- A case.
- Internal electronics.
- Buzzer.
- Battery.
- Charger with (US/UK/AU adapters).
- Keypad with 18 keys, including four function keys.
