The HP-300 digital hot plate made by Cole-Parmer is designed for scientific professionals and students requiring a hot plate for daily use. The HP-300 has an LED display that lets you accurately set the temperature. A hot warning light flashes when the surface temperature exceeds 50 °C to prevent accidental burns. If you turn off or unplug the unit, the hot warning light remains on, ensuring your safety.
The simple body design allows spillages to be easily deflected from the user. The front control panel resists spills, and the glass is chemically toughened for extra resilience. In addition, units feature BioCote antimicrobial protection, which reduces the presence of odour and stain-causing microbes such as bacteria, mould, and fungi on the product surface by up to 99.99%.
The digital interface indicates the set and temperature on the 7-segment digital display. To achieve accurate sample temperature control up to 200 °C (392 °F), a digital temperature controller (sold separately) can be connected to the rear of the unit.
